Grace Kelly’s Granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi Riding Fashion Week – SheKnows
Charlotte Casiraghi knows how to make an entrance at Paris Fashion Week. Grace Kelly’s lookalike granddaughter rode the catwalk for Chanel – the perfect way for the skilled equestrian to show off the designer’s luxurious fashions.
Dressed in a monochromatic black outfit highlighted with a sparkling, well-tailored tweed jacket, the 35-year-old focused the entire audience on the royal family member. Her horse gracefully trotted down the track as Princess Caroline of Hanover’s eldest daughter cut a glamorous figure with her cat-eye makeup and hair tucked gently under her riding helmet.
As a member of the Royal Family of Monaco, Casiraghi will always choose his horses at all times in the spotlight because of the lessons they have taught him. “They have had an important role in my life since childhood,” she described her horses to Harper’s Bazaar in 2013. “They gave me the energy to go forward, the ability to fight, gave me rare confidence and invaluable strength. They also taught me great humility. It’s no wonder she had the opportunity to walk down the runway for Chanel – her horse gave her great comfort under the glare of photographers’ lenses.
While Casiraghi is often compared to her gorgeous grandmother, she thinks her mother is more like Princess Grace. “When I watch my grandmother’s films, I see in her your grace, your requirement, your discipline and your mystery too,” she told her mother in a joint interview with Madame Figaro. Casiraghi may not see the resemblance to her late grandmother, but the three women have an air of elegance that is hard to replicate.
