Man offering $5,000 reward for robbery in Mono | bloginfo(‘name’); ?>

A property near the highway. 9 and airport road. had approximately $20,000 worth of equipment stolen from a shipping container last month.

The owner is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft.

The burglary is believed to have taken place on or shortly before August 26 this year.

The thieves entered the property from Airport Rd. by truck or van, removing the heavy chain and locked padlock holding the door to the property closed.

The shipping container on the property was then broken into and the thieves took a Pelican brand paddle steamer which is monaco blue and white, a new Champion 4500 watt inverter generator (model 201053) which has never been taken out of the box and a motorboat parts related to maintenance.

Water skis and assorted gear, including a Goode brand slalom water ski which is a nano twist model at 66.5 inches, were also taken.

A 10×10 collapsible branded black tent with the KRV Collective logo was also stolen and a Frontier branded canoe (dark gray on the side, light gray on the bottom) was stolen separately in late May.
