Once a customer has accumulated 500 points, they go from Blue to Gold. At 2,500 points, the customer goes to Platinum and 7,500 points to Diamond. The earning periods last six months and are linked to the date the client joins the program. When an Uber user unlocks a tier, he or she has that tier for the remaining earnings period and the next six months, Uber said.
