Ulysse Nardin – Monaco Yacht Show – Exhibitions

The organizers of the MYS have confirmed the participation of 300 exhibitors. They also announced that nearly 60 superyachts will be on display, including 40 brand new launches by some of the most famous shipyards – not to mention the regulars here at MYS – including: Benetti, Feadship, Lürssen, Oceanco, etc. (complete list at the end of the press release).

As announced last February, the show will focus on providing the ultimate superyacht customer base with a premium sightseeing experience.

The new Dockside Area, part of the exhibition dedicated to companies directly linked to the construction or management of superyachts and tenders, will therefore be exclusively open to end customers (in possession of a “Discover”, “Advise” and “Sapphire Experience” badges) on Wednesday, September 22, before being open to all visitors from Thursday.

The Espace Docks fits perfectly into the distribution of Port Hercule de Monaco for the show: for several years, each space of the exhibition has its own theme in order to better meet the expectations of visitors.

A more varied exhibition

This year, visitors will be treated to two new exhibitions:
The first, dedicated to sailboats, will be held at the Hirondelle quay where several boats will be moored in front of the stands representing their respective yards, designers and specialized equipment manufacturers.

In addition to the show’s historic Designer Gallery, the MYS will offer a Yacht Design & Innovation Hub: a new space for the presentation of yacht design projects where visitors can also interact with designers.

These two spaces perfectly complement the exhibitions of luxury tenders and water toys at Tender & Toys (Quai Antoine Ier), in addition to luxury cars at the Car Deck (Quai Antoine Ier), luxury products (Parvis Piscine tent), nautical equipment manufacturers and the latest technological releases (Darse Sud and Quai Albert Ier).

Rest assured: the Monaco Yacht Show 2021 will be “Covid-safe”!

An anti-Covid health protocol will be respected throughout the show, from the first day of preparations to dismantling the last stand and, of course, during the 4 days of the show.

The general manager of the exhibition Gaëlle Tallarida declared: “We are closely monitoring the evolution of the pandemic, as well as the health constraints applied in each of the countries of origin of our visitors. As organizers of the show, our responsibility is to ensure safety and healthy conditions for every visitor, exhibitor, service provider and member of staff. The MYS will therefore monitor the health measures put in place by the Principality’s government, as well as the “AllSecure” health security program, which is compulsory for all Informa Group events. ”

Health measures at MYS

The pandemic has nonetheless caused societal upheavals and direct changes in our lifestyles – not to mention consumption. For the yacht charter and sales markets, 2020 has turned out to be a fabulous year, reflecting hedonistic dynamics among the wealthiest strata of society. Today more than ever, people want to enjoy life and get back to basics: real human relationships.

This is especially true in a world as demanding and exhilarating as the superyacht. Establish a real relationship of trust and loyalty with the expert in charge of your yacht project and make sure to meet him in person.

In the end, yachting is a matter of emotions and senses: you have to see the yacht, touch the noble materials that make it up, imagine all the good times that you could share on board, feel safe and at home in family and Suite. Yachting is a positively human adventure in which the virtual world is intrinsically limited… An adventure that takes place just outside the doors of the Monaco Yacht Show.

Ulysses Nardin

The brand will once again be the official sponsor of the Monaco Yacht Show which will be held from September 22 to 25, 2021. The presence of the Swiss watchmaker on the quays of the iconic Port Hercule in Monaco since 2009 is truly part of its history, intrinsically linked marine exploration and navigation. The Manufacture is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year.

“Ulysse Nardin’s long maritime heritage gives this partnership its full meaning. The Monaco Yacht Show and Ulysse Nardin share a deep respect for the sea, a passion for the beautiful art of living, a concern for precision and the search for innovation; We are therefore proud to be able to associate our name with the most important superyacht event in the world for a 12th year “, Patrick Pruniaux, CEO of Ulysse Nardin.

This partnership between Ulysse Nardin and the Monaco Yacht Show also reinforces their common objectives of attracting a hedonistic, more modern and more daring clientele. Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of MYS, is delighted to welcome them in September in Monaco for a 2021 show which will be “resolutely focused on extraordinary experiences at sea through the superyacht”.
